I bought a brand new DVD once that was corrupted (it stopped like halfway through the movie), but I never bothered returning it (store won’t take back opened DVDs anyway) or complaining to the manufacturer because it came with a digital code and it was easier to just stream it on whatever device I wanted. I’ve lost

I wonder if it’s this, or antipathy toward Billy Eichner.  I’ll admit, that was my main hurdle.  I just was not interested in seeing a movie with him as the lead.

Our upcoming post-mini Apocalypse is going to generate so many great cannibalism stories.

I don’t think I ever saw a trailer for Smile—I’m positive I never did—but I think the first trailer I ever saw for Bros was in…I want to say 2015, and since then, it feels like there have been a pretty high number of ads in print, on the radio, on TV, featurettes in theaters, theatrical trailers, you name it (and,

Nobody could trash SNL like Dennis Perkins.

I’m not in the US but fully aware that the primary market for SNL and the AV Club is the US. If the videos are not made available to your country then that’s a decision by NBC for some reason. Yet you want AV Club to break copyright by hosting the videos themselves and breaking geo locks? Why the hell would they do

Subhead: mild snarking on people who buy physical media. First sentence: succinct explanation for why people should want physical media. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How on earth did Punkie Johnson get promoted to main cast while James Austin Johnson is still only featured? I can’t think of any especially memorable bits by Punkie since she joined, whereas James is playing major roles like Trump and Biden. . .

(I don’t begrudge her getting bumped up, mind you, but was stunned that

I love the pre recorded sketches, because it always feels like SNL saying they don’t actually want to be SNL anymore. They’d rather just be another sketch comedy show.

Wow so whoever wrote that toiletpaper bear sketch kind of clearly ripped off this much better skit:

Everyone is more than welcome to their opinion, but to mention how repetitive and boring an episode is and then to spend half the “stray observations” talking about a missing Cecily Strong seems like a real choice. You can’t criticize people for not being clever in such an uninteresting way. I think you are upset

I think it was weird that he called out his parents being there and they didn’t even show them. Maybe they didn’t want to be on camera but it was weird.

But they've got a new logo!

Since when do they not include a cast member in the credits if they're not featured in the episode?

Was Kendrick Lamar so awful that he didn’t even rate a mention? That seems unlikely, but I haven’t watched yet, so who knows?

Does it use its hand and make sustained eye contact, at least?

I think that’s how I’m going to try to go in to it open minded and just not think about it as Interview with the Vampire.

I was disappointed and pleased with the show. Disappointed in that I’m an Anne Rice fan and the glaring liberties that were taken are more than annoying. Rice’s vampires did not have retractable teeth, nor did they have blood covered feedings. They fed cleanly. All to not draw attention to themselves. Just to name a

I mean I hope it suck a little right?  Wink Wink, nudge nudge

Why do they have additional eyes (beyond the standard pair)?
