if allowed to by WB Discovery’s top leadership

That would be so rad, but I'm fairly certain that Marvel Studios (Disney) doesn't have the film rights for Micronauts.

A Pet Rock.

a paperweight also has more dignity LOL

A paperweight has, like, one use tho.

Part of the problem is the source material they are allowed to use. Apparently, they have no right to anything from Silmarillion, so that could be why he didn’t go by Annatar.

I was starting to wonder if I was the only one in these comments who thought The Gifted deserved a higher place in these rankings. I get the impression that a lot of people didn’t even watch it and I blame that on FX and I definitely think it would’ve helped if they titled the show X-Men: The Gifted.

i know it’s thought of as a low-rate ‘mary poppins,’ but bedknobs and broomsticks is probably my favourite movie of all time. owned the vhs, the dvd, and it was the first movie i watched when i got disney+.

The MCU has been, for the most part, really spot-on when it comes to casting, to the point where we just can’t imagine anyone other than RDJ, Evans, and such as their respective super heros. But Snipes absolutley OWNED the Blade role long before the massive complex of the MCU. I’m sure Ali will be great, but I don’t

The best moment of the episode was definitely the “Strong boys” comment by Aemond.

Noisy cars, noisy people, verbal arguments, an exchange of gunfire this past

Honestly, going to the movies is just becoming so ludicrously expensive at this point. Unless you hit a matinee, you’re talking $10+ per ticket, plus overpriced concessions, etc. For two-three people (using that number because I’m married with one kid, so it reflects my family) you could easily be looking at $50 for a

No one can argue that Will Smith hitting Chris Rock on the Oscars stage wasn’t a bad call”?
Um, I can. It was a bad call. It was bad.

In lieu of a movie, the sequel to Sally and Gillian’s story was published last year (I think) The Book of Magic.

July 15, 1987: This agent has confirmed the S.P. has made firm plans to dance with somebody & further conspires to feel the heat from somebody.

Sounds like development hell from the off.
They probably couldn’t afford any of the leads at their current price, although it’d be a great opportunity for most of them to executive-produce with a cast of comparable young talents (Saoirse Ronan, Claire Foy, Vanessa Kirby, Jessica Chastain?).

Joe Morton in, “A Brother From Another Planet.”
