We’ve lost Mary Alice, Bill Russell, and Nichelle Nichols in one week.

And even then, there’s a good chance he would need expand the story he has left to tell into even more books
They said this in the last article they wrote about tWoW too.. I don’t know if its a ‘he’s never gonna write A Dream of Spring’ joke or that they just don’t know.
I believe the actual final installment will be titled “A Dance With Dragons”
I hope MCU introduces Doom outside of the Fantastic Four movie, even if he is a B/C plot building him up before meeting the FF can work to be a better story than trying to tie his origin story to FF origin story
$10 says the “lost my entire family” line is a flashback (or cold open) to during the Blip when both T’Challa and Shuri were Snapped.
Paulie may have moved slow. Only because Paulie didn’t have to move for ANYbody.
That’s one of my favorites. Warner was a great foil for Malcomb McDowell’s H. G. Wells. He actually managed to make Jack the Ripper a sympathetic character by the end of the film. Simply a great talent.
I think a Weapon X program going off the rails would be a great way to introduce Mutants into the MCU. Like a parallel government project to the Dark Avengers. Sharron Carter is trying to track down a mysterious assassin, stumbles into the Weapon X program, sells the info to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine and in the…
My favorite is that the MCU is a post “no more Mutants” universe. But instead of depowering the existing Mutants, Wanda rewrote all of history to exclude them.
Surprise! This whole movie is just a campaign that the kids from Stranger Things are playing.
Spider-Woman and Miles are both stuck with Sony so I doubt we see them in live action outside of the Madame Web movie (which I’m guessing will have at least one iteration of Spider-Woman).
Namor is the big one, although all signs are pointing that he’s going to be in Wakanda Forever.
Somewhere there’s a parallel universe that actually has joyful articles wondering about what a Spielberg Fantastic 4 movie would look like.
Opening Arguments, had a good two part episode several months ago breaking down how he was financing the deal, and just how shaky it all was. They also predicted he would try something like this. They also said.. they wouldn’t be surprised if Twitter called bullshit and would sue him... and here we are.
Why anyone…
Forcing Musk to buy Twitter would require the Court to grant Twitter something called “specific performance” (i.e., the Court ordering the defendant to do (or not do) some specific act). US Courts are (rightfully) reluctant to grant specific performance awards unless a monetary award can’t provide an adequate remedy…
Not a lawyer but, based on what I’ve read/heard on podcasts, the legal fight favors Twitter. Musk agreed to pay a ridiculous amount of money to buy it and waived due diligence. He can’t obfuscate and cajole his way around the Delaware Chancellory Court like he does the SEC and regulators.
IANAL: But the agreement he signed specifically waived all inspections and everything. All his talk about bots and stuff is just smoke. (There was also anti-disparagement clauses which he broke in days.)
I am not a legal eagle but best guess is he will simply pay and walk away out of court and then brag about how he didn’t pay anything while having Twitter under an NDA.
The merger agreement has a specific provision for it, and that’s exactly what Twitter is trying to enforce. Since he can’t do it, he will have to throw money at them.
Doesn’t take a legal genius to see there’s really only two options: he has to buy twitter as originally agreed and eat shit, OR he settles with Twitter for many billions and eats shit.
