Or we'll put a needle through someone's eye. Or we'll put a needle through some attractive girl's eye.

Nope, in the US. It's just when typing, your left ring, middle, and pointer fingers are already on SDF, so go "up" from D to get to E for forward. Moving my fingers one set of keys over to (W)ASD means my fingers have to learn a different "default". And I can't wrap my brain around why I would do that—why anyone

OH MY GOD. How is this at all confusing? Why the hell would I have my pinkie folded under somewhere? Do you do that for WASD? No. Scoot that crap one to the right, and your fingers are where they are to type. Your pinkie is on A, but you don't usually use your pinkie to move, even with WASD, so why would I need to

Well, I mean keeping your pointer on F. Since your middle finger is WS in WASD, your middle finger would be ED in ESDF, and your left hand is in "homerow" position. Pinkie's still on A though.

In which "horror" become synonymous with "gore".

What I was saying is that 1) It's unreasonable to expect every person, or gamer, to be familiar with/comfortable with PC upgrading, maintenance, or repair. Some will never get it, some will never like it, some will never be comfortable, some just don't want the hassle or potential for fuckups.

1- Holy crap, is that Celldweller? Snazzy—I just bought that album last night!

I use A or Z for what Ctrl and Shift usually do, and Shift instead of Alt.

Well I meand "ESDF" as in, my pointer finger rests on F, because that's where it goes if I have my fingers on homerow (asdf jkl;).

When was the last time you saw a group of hardened female assassins?

Science is not, and cannot be, "certain" of the existence, or not, of anything.

Where the hell did WASD come from?

Well I think the most measured response would be, find a way to accurately describe a "god", and find a way to test that being's existence, or else stop talking.

I'm in Missouri. Whoever it is, I can probably see some of them from my porch.

I strongly suspect PC gaming isn't an "arms race" because of the effect that consoles had on slowing development and forcing more intelligent programming and resource use.

The one who was very obviously murdering people for their water?

That's because, in large part, of a global freaking recession. It's been hitting everything—games held out for a while, yes, but it's been going on too long, so it was bound to hit.

What is that style of music in the first 30 seconds? I've heard similar vocalizations in Zone of the Enders 2's theme, as well as Farscape, and some songs by Corvus Corax—so it's quite obviously a distinct flavor probably pulled from a particular type of music... but what's the name?

And yet XBL games make a killing at $15. I'd say a disc-based game that has the same cost to make should only cost $20.

But consoles will have a new generation, so this is not a permanent trend. Once a new gen comes out in a year or two, the whole cycle starts over.
