Allright... lets use pies as an example, you have 99% of a pie, and someone says that they will give you 100% more of that pie. Take that concept back to driving saftey, our cars are already pretty damn safe, it just doesn’t make sense to make them 100% safer, they weren’t 50% or less safe to begin with!

I entirely disagree with your dismissal of semantics, and stick to my statement. If something only had a 10% chance to be safe, 100% safer would then be 20% chance to be safe under my original interpretation of “100% safer”. It could also have a 55% chance to be safe under your interpretation of what “100% safer”…

This discussion all revolves around semantics and how you define what “100% safer” is defined by. If it’s miles per incident, then you are correct. If it’s defined by likelihood of crashing, i.e. chance of incident per mile, then I am correct.

Lets see... incident rate of human drivers is about 1 incident per 100,000miles. Thus worka out to 99.999% safe driving miles. 100% safer would be 199.998% which is impossible. ;)

I dunno, this seems to be an actually innovative iteration of their franchise. If it was fatigue, I think more people would be receptive to it. I personally think that people hate change and whether they are willing to admit it or not, would love to play the same game over and over so long as they can continue to do…

No, not really. If I had a patent, and I licensed someone to use my patent, there is no approval process on whether they are using the design the way I intended. All that licensing does is ensure that person/company can’t get sued for using it.

Why don’t they just get the group to pay them $1 for “legal” rights to their IP?
