You don't understand how graphics work I'm guessing. Sure maybe those consoles could produce the textures that we see (they couldn't) but the amount of polygons used for the models and environments could not be produced by those consoles. Less polygons means blockier look and less detailed models.

You know they really aren't. I actually started to think the same thing after I made that last post. The only big difference is really the settings, one mostly takes place at a summer camp and the other in the suburbs. I think Friday 13th moves out of the camp eventually to other locations though.
