When you start the game on steam it will just ask you for your windows live/xbox live ID. Do that and it logs you onto GFWL where you can get your gamerscore and see your friends and all that stuff. I like it but GFWL can be a pain in the ass some times.

I think he is referring to the fact that he wanted the Games for Windows Live achievements to add to his gamerscore. I personally wish it had the GWFL achievements but used Steam as well like Fallout 3, GTA4, and both Batman games have.
