Exactly.

It's still all an attempt to take their rape apologia "one level removed" from simple victim shaming; to try to make their whitewash more appealing.

Agreed. I don't know what's worse, the things these people believe and want to impose on others - or the fact that they seem to be evolving their tactics beyond just calling people sluts and hos.

Not in my experience. This is the first time I can recall reading an article on Jezebel and thinking to myself "hey the title doesn't match the article" - that's why I posted.

Not that I am agreeing with, or defending, anything the NRO article is saying, but it's a bit of a stretch to interpret it as saying: "these women weren't raped, they're just sluts".

"...whatever we call what the furries do?"

I know this is a stale thread, but it was linked to from this current one:

You've reversed your original position.

"They" is NOT improper usage. Just listen to people and how they talk. It's what they do, therefore it is totally proper usage.

This +1!

Surely the first sentence should read that it's legal to fire ANYONE for discussing their salary with co-workers, no?

How do you know I have a different mindset or beliefs than yours? You don't know me.

Nice

Because it could very easily have been a troll?

"Israel's forced sterilization of specifically Black Jews is shitty. We get to condone them for that"

For the same reason that articles condemning women and minorities for their treatment of white men are viewed with distaste. It's the power dynamic.

Maybe, but if you're really concerned about transfer of germs from surfaces, you'd do better to recommend people wash their hands after using their computer keyboard - or better yet - wash their keyboards.

That's because for the most part it's true. Feces contains all sorts of bacteria and infectious agents, while urine is so sterile and antiseptic the Romans used it to wash clothes.

Urine is antiseptic. The Romans used to use it to wash their clothes.

"I didn't, not once. And you know what? I didn't die. All 27 planes found the runway, none of their engines sputtered out."
