While I really liked Oswin when we first met her, lately I've felt like she's a Mary Sue whose biggest schtick is "ooh, look at the mystery of my existence" (not unlike the island in LOST). It's at a point where I really don't care about who/why Clara is, and I was actually happy when the entire intro of this episode

I thought the Tom Tom joke was cute in this episode. In an episode that had any substance, it would've been dumb... but in this one, I lost my suspension of disbelief early on, so I didn't mind a throwaway gag like Thomas Thomas.

Many of the shows already mentioned would have been on my list. But I never hear about one of my favorite sci-fi shows from childhood, "Misfits of Science". Admittedly, it's likely horrible on rewatch, but when I was 10, it was awesome!

LOVED Space: Above & Beyond. Also, it's one of the few shows that had a good ending. Sure, there were other plots they could have run, but when they knew it was over, they just kept on fighting (not dissimilar to the way Angel ended, actually).
