as someone who doesnt play it. I can assume its a chain reaction thing. if hit the enemy explode. if a nearby enemy is hit by the first guy going up they also explode...he just threw the hammer at the right time at the right place so everybody spawns into the explosions and thus explode themselves

I hope the next gen doesn't run with the "dark and gritty" angle like 90% of the games for the PS3 and 360 did with their various shades of brown and grey color filters. Next gen needs to be brightly colored like past gens.
