@Miss Beyond: Because some of us haven't had assholes call us out for our lack of knowledge. Thanks for the tip.

Just thinking out loud here, but, what form of media do you suppose the next XBOX will deliver it's games on? They can't possibly do DVD again. Would they have to suck it up and license Blu-Ray tech from their biggest competitor? The only other option I can think of is something like SD cards. In another couple of…
@Michael Dukakis: Another Nathan Drake adventure would be really Sweden it could only be better than Among Thieves.
As someone who only buys games new, I have no problem with this $10 plan. I have a huge problem with the $60 price tag of console games with the "increased development costs" as justification. Then I see these ridiculous, over the top marketing schemes that cost tens of millions of dollars. Sponsoring sporting…
Perhaps this game would truly benefit from a port to the iPad/iPhone. I can't wait to try it on my DSi, but it sounds like an accelerometer would make this game shine.
If the cost of their USB drives is any indication, this piece of tech should run about $14,999.
I haven't played any music games since Guitar Hero 3, and I haven't paid close attention to what was released since GH3, but, weren't Aerosmith, Metallica and Van Halen shipped in that order? And hasn't the whole music game craze died off over the last year? Is it possible the bad sales numbers for GH:VH are simply…
@VincentGrey: I've been playing on a first-gen Touch with absolutely no problems. There's an option to turn off certain effects in the game for speedier performance, but I haven't felt it necessary to use it. The game runs smoothly with all the graphical effects on.
@Hey_Blinkon: I'm not singling you out, per se, but it's funny how we gamers bitch when the downloadable version of a game costs the same amount as the brick and mortar version of the game (It should be cheaper! Doesn't cost anything to manufacture! No packaging costs! Doesn't cost anything to ship!), and yet, here…
Oh man, not available in 3XL. Do they not understand the demographic of who would buy this?
Oh, Baltimore... we're big enough for both MLB and NFL franchises, but apparently too small for Lost Planet swag.
What are these "achievements" you speak of? Are they anything like Trophies?
@jcb231: It's actually 500 bonus Reward Zone points, not MS points.
I saw the story yesterday about the faulty USB drives and the $10 discount Gamestop is giving purchasers of the Splinter Cell CE. Does anyone know if it will also be $10 off at Best Buy?
For those that are willing to shell out $100 (like myself), Amazon's taking pre-orders for the Collector's Edition.
@Bluejuan85: Me too! I thought I was the only one.
@TheRevanchist: Hey, I have a lot of disposable income and, unfortunately, not a lot of time to play all of these awesome games. Doesn't stop me from picking them up on launch day, though. Except Masamune and Dragon Age, which I just got a few weeks ago.
@Rod_Z: I tried the Darksiders demo, too, and for some reason it didn't do much for me. At least not enough to warrant a purchase at full price and, as you can see, I have enough stuff sitting on my shelf to catch up on.
I purchased this game on PS3 a few weeks ago when it was on sale at Target for $40. Haven't played it yet, though I did enjoy the demo. I just finished God of War III and last night started Heavy Rain. I have such a huge backlog of games and I don't know what to play after HR: Dante's Inferno, Bioshock 2, Masamune:…
@jayntampa: I have worked in retail and I'll be honest, sales wasn't for me. I'm more of a "behind-the-scenes" kind of guy. It was the policies and procedures that got to me. I couldn't, in good conscience, pitch things to people that I absolutely knew they didn't need. It's one thing to let customers know what…
