Basically, any time you compress a gas it gets hotter. That, combined with the fact that it's flowing right next to your exhaust means that the air coming out of the turbo is much hotter than the motor wants. An intercooler exchanges heat from the now compressed air through an aluminum tube and fin box. There are

I'm not sure what you're talking about with coolant in the intercooler... there's no coolant lines that go into the intercooler (I've had mine off numerous times). Methanol injection is used to lower cylinder temperatures and decrease the amount of detonation you might get from high IATs or a head soaked IC.

I used to track my STI all the time. IATs were not affected dramatically by spraying the IC with water. Sitting there with the engine idling in traffic, in the staging lanes, etc was plenty to heat soak the IC on a hot day. If IC temperatures are your concern, then you'll want a front mount. If you're just worried

No they stopped that in 2008. I had one in my 2007 STI and I pretty much never used it and the tank was always empty.

When I was 18, I had to surrender the hand-me-down Chevy Astro to my sister and buy my own transportation. I knew I wanted to drive stick and I wanted AWD so I went to the Subaru dealer. We wrote up the paper work on a brand new Impreza 5 speed without even driving it and then the dealer started trying to sneak shit

This is the only correct answer.

His insurance company will sue the kid and his grand father's insurance company to recoup their money.

That stops them from driving away with it but it doesn't stop them from just flat bedding it outta there. There was a guy a few years ago that had his ITR parked in his garage with a car in front of the garage door. They came, dragged the other car out of the way, cut open the garage door, and hooked the car outta

If I get done reading your resume and cover letter and don't have an idea of what you actually want to do then your resume goes to the bottom of the pile. I advise anyone looking for a job to have a customized statement of intent at the top of their resume that includes the company's name that you're applying to. If

NDA or not, why would you show your hand without having a contract locked up? The only stupid one here is Ecotricity.

I would definitely make more things out of pallet wood if they weren't such a huge pain in the ass to disassemble without ruining the wood. The hardest part about making a pallet table was getting the boards all separated without splitting the wood.

I see seats in there too.

I've seen a lot more Jeep SRT8s than I've seen 300 SRT8s. If you want a car with that kind of muscle then you'll just get a Challenger or a Charger SRT8.

One of the best ways to get more money is to change jobs even if it's in the same field. If you're willing to accept any amount of money to quit your job you've just acknowledged the following:

Yeah in NYC they will just tow your car. There is certainly no booting involved.

The hood is like a $12k part. Probably a lot easier to flip than a motor too.

It also wasn't clear which IDE they were using to tunnel into the debugger so they could optimize the backbone for the new wavelength currency.

I didn't understand it the first time either but when you re-read it, it totally makes sense.

I don't get the hate either. I actually really like this commercial. It's a refreshing twist on what it means to hustle in America. It's a much better ad than Toyota claiming the Corolla is really fast or BMW rehashing the exact same commercial with all of their cars.
