I can slide it in and out of my pocket easily, I can reach both sides with my thumb, and everything just works. I've used bigger Android devices and they all feel clumsy. That's fine. Trade the whole thing into the dealer and they will give you a ready to go replacement. They recycle the grill and other useable bits into a new bumper and off you go. If cars are designed with this in mind, the whole process will be easier.

I used to do this with Bacardi 151. Worked surprisingly well.

I don't really mind bumper covers getting trashed and the need to replace/paint them. The bumper covers themselves are pretty cheap from the manufacturer.
