I think they covered that. The “stowaway”, his body had been thrown into like a CO2 rinser or an O2 stash or something. Whatever it was, he broke it, and a module that they were depending on became unusable. Wrecked a big portion of their oxygen capacity for the journey.

I also thought it was supposed to be that. Their initial burn didn’t get them to their calculated position – there’s a long pause where Toni Collete might have to trigger an ocean abort – then mission control tells them it’s ok, they have enough fuel to compensate.

I love it.

It’s not impossible that spellcheck fucked Schimkowitz. Still, it is something you oughtta catch.

Sometime around 1992, I heard “More” by The Sisters of Mercy on the radio. And I was BLOWN AWAY! I waited thru the next few songs until the DJ told us who it was. When I got to work that night, I told this girl I liked about the awesome song I’d heard, and some of the things that were cool about it.

Damn Kinja’s inability to edit!  :-)

Captain America leaving the timeline to live out his life in happy wedded bliss with HER AUNT put that to rest already.

Those wrestling guys bring the funny.
And they already do action!

It is just sort of weird to have the protagonist in an MCU be an actual adult. We’ve had a long line of man-children (looking at you, Tony), the rich and sheltered, occasional out-and-out trauma victims, and one actual child.

Bettany is wonderful in that movie.
“Now that – I do believe.”

...the script called for his character to kill the snack.

I’m enjoying imagining that Sam overnighted it through UPS and some zoned out delivery driver just haphazardly tossed it on Sarah’s porch.

Nothing about Sharon Carter’s strange scene? She’s revealed to have pulled a few strings to get Batroc out of jail after the events of the first episode, and has him rendezvous with Karli in New York at the end of this one - but she can’t be the Power Broker because...

the middle two episodes were so much weaker to me that it’s clear that’s where the contraction of story happened. Most of Donya Madani’s story is offscreen and in those episodes, and that’s clearly the narrative foundation for Karli’s development.

They’re not going to have absolutely everything apparent on episode 5 out of 6. Answers will be coming, don’t worry.

Also, what woman wouldn’t want to have Bucky flirting with her?

Yeah, that was weird.

I THINK it might actually be the shield that Thanos tore up in Endgame (the jagged damage looked about right). So somehow the Contessa managed to get hold of those pieces.

I loved the bit about him not always immediately thinking about his metal arm.
