Don’t even give them that concession. Don’t give them the option, stand your ground, united front. No subscriptions on anything hardwired into the car.

I am 35 and I absolutely despise subscriptions. I see them for what they are, a long-term money suck. I get that some things need to be like that. But with cars, no way. What is the subscription getting me in 2 years? It doesn’t add value.

If heated seats are installed in my car, but I need to pay a subscription fee to access the feature installed in my car, then I will not be purchasing that car.
