When I got my silicone impressions done, they said your ear canal shouldn’t change too much - I have the older UE4 IEMs, which have the two pin connector. The newer connectors are much better (iirc the same as hearing aid).

And Xbox has had a similar setup with the Xbox app (local stream from your console) - agree with your assessment that this seems more like PlayStation Now.

Hopefully it will be similar to the 6T, which had a 3rd party port of the Pixel 3 camera app - just the app alone helped the picture quality.
