OMG what the heck was the hole in the floor for?? Tell me it wasn’t for pooping. :/

There are so many I never forget. I’ve seen them all. There will be a marathon on and 5 minutes in I’ll be like “Oh this is the one in which...” However whenever a favorite comes on I’ll be like “YES!!! don’t bother me for the next hour.” My favorite episode ever is titled “Zebras” when that dorky CSI tech goes off

OH MY GOD THAT FUCKING EPISODE. I have never forgotten it.

She’s incredibly brave, thinking to take the photos as proof :/ I really hope she gets the support she needs.

Wow, Minnesota joins, Dubai, Hong Kong and China is the treatment of domestic employees.

Stories like this always freak me out, because she isn’t the only one this is happening to, how many people right this second are in a situation just like this? We don’t know until it comes out, or we never know and it stays a secret forever.

Yep. This is why every country needs income equality and worker welfare laws. You miss either one and shabby treatment becomes the norm, while outright abuse happens regularly.

What I don’t understand is sadistically beating anyone in front of your kids. Even if she covers the abuse, the kids will notice the nanny coming in with two black eyes every day. Is she trying to raise serial killers?

Sadly, most workers in Saudi Arabia are unable to do exactly that. Why the fuck are we allies with them??

Maybe it’s just because I don’t have the psychopath gene and don’t truly understand how people like this think but wouldn’t you be concerned that the person you are torturing might snap and oh, I don’t know, murder your children?

I hope that she gets some kind of monetary compensation for all of her pain and suffering. She deserves to have a nice long rest with her family and friends and therapy.

Jesus Christ.

It’s called “document abuse” and it’s very common against people who are here without legal status. And yes, if someone wants to hold onto your passport while you’re in a foreign country, they’re generally up to something super-shady.

According to another report, the husband was the one who took away her passport and told her she “wasn’t going anywhere”. If that’s true I I hope he also gets arrested for false imprisonment, too. (And that INS deports the Huangs, since they actually deserve it!)

That episode did touch on the language barrier that kept the nanny in Minnesota unable to ask for help. The episode began with the nanny overhearing some people on the street speaking her language (Romanian, I think?) and slipped them a note asking for help.

Thank goodness she is tough and resilient enough to still physically move with a fucking broken sternum!!!! Holy shit!!! The child she was the nanny for, is probably traumatized for life as well.

Woodbury, MN?? I grew up there. And honestly... I can believe. Shit.

Wasn’t this an episode of SVU? Oh wait that was the episode about how the guy kept the nanny as a sex slave in the box under the bed. Anyway coming to SVU next season...

EGAD! That poor woman! Well, at least we know that the US is excellent at helping people leave our country. At least she is trying to get back home to China.

A bag hidden under the nanny’s mattress contained a large amount of her hair, which Huang allegedly ripped from the woman’s head. The nanny had been hiding it so Huang wouldn’t find it “and force her to eat it,” the complaint said.
