I was spoiled by someone regarding what is coming up and I’m not going to watch live this week so I can fast forward if needed. Which I think it might be.

Clearly, Claire has never seen an external version done (a procedure to turn a breech baby from the outside). If she had, she’d know that palpating a little isn’t going to do anything. I had two doctors, one grabbing the head and one pushing the butt, heaving with their entire bodies to get my daughter to turn

This is why I’m not allowed to time travel

I thought it was pretty clear that Claire *didn't* know anything about birthing no babies, that's why she was a little hesitant. I thought it was a good episode overall considering that 1/2 of it was straight up from the writer's imaginations - I thought they did a good job though with The Watch & setting Jamie up to

This.

I suspect we’ll be seeing more of Black Jack’s menacing dong. I’m not looking forward to it...

I wasn’t really bothered by the changes in this episode. I’m more concerned about how they handle the next leg of the story.

I have to admit I’ve been more focused on what is to come in the book and whether (and how) it might be different. About 50 pages after this part of the book I had to set it aside for about six months and I’m just not sure I’m ready for it onscreen. I suspect the approach of the show may diverge a lot.

I enjoy Jamie's jealousy of Frank too.

Laura Donnelly’s (Jenny) accent is driving me nuts. I first saw her first in The Fall, now I can’t unhear her Irish accent. She was however much more likeable and compelling this week; softer more vulnerable. Also Jamie actually keeps getting physically more attractive as each episode progresses. I wasn’t sold on Sam

STOP CENSORING ME, UNDERWEAR. T_T
FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION.

Isn’t that what underwear basically is tho?

These ‘gents look like they’re wearing censorship black bars across their dongs.

Oh sure, I think Claire looked pretty shifty when she said “I’ve seen childbirth.” Like, maybe once? From a distance? Anyway, as a person with medical expertise of any kind from 200+ years in the future, she’s probably still the most qualified person present to deal with it.

I think the casting people have done a wonderful job with this show. The actress who plays Jenny is wonderful, and I wasn’t too sure about Ian last week, but he did a great job this week with the PTSD after he killed Horrocks. It makes me hopeful about next season, and on into future seasons, because I really love

Hi there.

This felt very much like a filler episode, even though they tried to cram it full of events. It was fine I guess, although I find it very dubious that a WWII combat nurse would know anything about delivering breech babies.

You are doing the work of angels. A friend of mine went to see Age of Ultron recently and I gave him strict instructions to work out how much camera time Captain America’s butt gets so I can decide whether I need to see it immediately.

The ladies in the audience have expressions of pure joy on their faces
