My brother and I were both adopted so obviously my parents never had sex. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

And if he did have a clue he wouldn’t give a crap anyway.

I developed an infection that I went to the ER for on New Year’s Day... I was put on a bunch of antibiotics and proceeded to be sooooo sick for almost two weeks... Puking, dizzy, could not get off the couch/out of bed. I lost 8 lbs because I really couldn’t eat for a week. There were several days where I thought I

I tried Tinder, Bumble, and OKC. I hated online dating as a whole because as an old, it is just super awkward to me. I am way more comfortable with more organic meetings and have only been on a handful of what I would consider actual dates in my life despite having been with many a dude over the years. That said, OKC

We had a pair of neighborhood peacocks that roamed our area when I first moved onto my farm. Holy shit the screech. It truly is the stuff of nightmares... Especially when you’re on the back of a horse and the screeching is happening as it is flying down from the trees overhead. Peacocks are gorgeous but also the

I have horrible flight anxiety (although I’ve been getting better, yay!). Do I wish I could snuggle my crazy ass dogs in the plane? Absolutely. But they are large and crazy and I’m not an asshole so Xanax is my friend.

I can only speak to the equine facilities. NYC is a main point of entry for horses who are headed to the east coast. There are only a handful of quarantine facilities in the U.S. for horses and there are varying lengths of quarantine required for them depending on gender (geldings/very young horses typically have the

NYC is the main points of entry with quarantine facilities for horses whose destination is on the east coast. There are only a handful of quarantine facilities in the country so I doubt the facility is actually going unused.

I kind of love that show (Alaska the Last Frontier). I know it’s TV so who knows what they’re really like, but her family seems great. I actually had no idea that was her family until a couple of seasons in.

Ugh, I feel you. If this thing doesn’t go anywhere there’s no way in hell I’ll reactivate that one. I mean, I’m obviously super glad to have met this guy but I won’t be wading through that shit show again.

I briefly reactivated Tinder and a couple of other apps. I happened to get some advice from a guy I know based in L.A. He said don’t bother with Tinder and Bumble, it’s like 90% bots or prostitutes. Not sure if that’s true where I live (I’m not in L.A.) but sure sounds accurate based on what you’re describing. He said

Agreed! I spent New Years Day in the ER and have been couch/bed bound for two days... Snuggles from these two are keeping me sane.

Gah, that sounds terrible. I’ve never really wanted kids but I recently met someone who has put it on my radar as something I maybe might possibly perhaps consider... It freaks me out for many reasons, one being that I feel old as hell even thinking about it at 37. I can’t even imagine being pregnant/giving birth at

As an adopted person who has interacted with a large number of other adopted people... There are a lot of people who ended up with crappy adopted parents and feel the same way about adoption. It’s not really about the method with which your family was formed, it’s about your disappointment in the job your parents did.

Fellow lifelong equestrian here... That video made me LMAO until the end, when I was sad that he didn’t get dumped on his dumb racist head. What a poser.

As someone who recently spent more money than I’d like to admit on horse jizz... Can concur ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ha! I was thinking the same thing.... I’m genuinely curious about how this person thinks mares feed their foals...

You’re spot on and yeah, definitely not for first timers. I grew up with labs and this one is my first non-lab. He was a bit of a challenge at first because he’s so, so different from the dogs I grew up with. I think my saving grace was the dog experience I did have, plus 30+ years of training horses. While they’re

Yuck. I’m just hoping that Aaron Rogers commercial with his Cattle Dog doesn’t cause a run on that breed this year. I have one. He’s the fucking best dog ever. He’s also often a PITA even though we live on a farm and he can run and chase and hunt and go nuts in the woods. I can’t even imagine having him in a house

I’m always surprised at this too... Especially considering both of my dogs are pittie mixes. Mine both loooooove people but they’re also on the large side (60-ish lbs) and high energy. I actively run interference with people because I’m afraid if they even just accidentally knocked someone down I’d get in trouble
