I can understand why people would like to have something like this to remind them of their loved one. Not a person but my lifetime best friend so... I plan to have one of these made for my old horse when it's his time:

Rose water spray is THA SHIT! I'm in agreement, not sure it really does anything but it smells wonderful without being overpowering in the least.
We never had one for our lab. I do have one for our cattle dog/pittie mix because he has that suuuuper short pittie coat... I just made sure to get him a super sporty Hurtta jacket so he still felt like a real farm dog :)
Ha! I usually have at least two glasses of wine before I enter at A - there must be something to it :)
The two go together for whatever reason. I love wine and horses. Every woman at my barn loooooves wine - and obviously, horses. Sometimes I think half of the reason we all show our horses is to have an excuse to leave our SO's at home for four days and drink wine during the day.
Pssst... "Horse Paraphernalia" = Tack ;)
FUN (not really)!!! The closest I got to that was when I was a working student at a farm that bred/raised Lusitanos. Trainer and I were only responsible for riding/training - mainly the stallions - we had nothing to do with the breeding end of the business. All had fabulous temperaments except for one who, for…
So I can't speak for all children and I'm inclined to agree that most children just say shit and then 5 seconds later they're onto something else. BUT... I started begging for a pony at about age 3. I begged every day. I sat in my window every night and wished upon a start for a pony. My parents fiiiiiinally gave in…
Agreed. My first pony (which I got for my 6th birthday with a big pink ribbon around her neck. Yes. I'm *that* kid) was an Arab... But in no way resembled the high dollar breed show Arabs they're breeding these days. I would hope that no one would buy one of those (often) psychotic horses for their child. I would hope…
Amy Purdy's story really struck me. First of all, what an awesome mom and family she has! Secondly, in the course of pursuing my own sport I have become friends with a couple of para-equestrian athletes. Simply put, they are both awesome. What I love/admire about Amy Purdy and what I also about both of my friends is…
Ummmm, holy crap that is hilarious.... I think I had this exact same experience with what very well may have been the exact same movie. To this day I have no idea what that movie was and have for all of my adult life wanted to figure it out. I vividly remember sneaking down the stairs after being put to bed and…
I hate people. I mean peepyl.
You are in good company my friend :)
I can't accept this apology until she learns how to (properly) capitalize. The shift button is your friend people!
It is! About 20 minutes or so. I could probably do a stall in the barn for $1800 :) Hahaha
And Axl, if you like the Seattle area but you're looking for something in the peaceful, idyllic countryside I have a spacious (150sf) and handsomely appointed guest house (chicken coop) that is available... You say Lindy wants $6000? Well you're in luck! Normally I rent my lovely abode for $6200, but we're currently…
One time I accidentally did a HUGE line of synthetic mescaline which I thought was coke (side note: I was obviously NOT in a good place at that point in my life, but I have been clean for 5 years! YAY!). I did not die, which was good, and at one point I was laying on my wood floors which had turned to water, and…
LOL, and the woman in the pictures looks to be the same as the woman in the pictures another person posted of her in the comments section. I feel sad for both of her children, but so, so very sad for that first child especially.
Ummmmm.... Ok... I'm generally not an internet stalker type BUT I was really curious as to why the mother had her first child taken away. I googled her name and stumbled across this FB page, which seems to have been abandoned back in 2012: https://www.facebook.com/aidenndanielsm…
If I'm reading correctly it sounds like the mother has another child who has already been taken by CPS and that is the reason given by CPS for taking this child. It actually had nothing to do with the father in this instance.
