“I know it’s a shame to be white in Philly right now. It’s a shame.”
“I know it’s a shame to be white in Philly right now. It’s a shame.”
Levar Burton is a Grade A, stand up guy.
But you don’t have to take my word for it.
Again, Levar Burton puts his/our people in the best possible light without coonery or apology. Rock on, Kunta/Ron LeFlore/Donald Lang (Dummy)/Geordi/ Mr. Reading Rainbow. They can clown your diction and erudite nature, but never your spirit, intensity or commitment.
I said it last week on the Murkowski post, I’ll repeat it here:
Bloomberg should just run as the republican dictator he craves to be.
oh I’m sorry, are you too young and millennial that you were born after they got rid of the search bar function?
Gee Pete, I guess the one Black person who was thinking of voting for you is now having second thoughts.
Dumb. “Straight pride” is as ridiculous as “white pride”. Straight people have never been made to feel ashamed of who we are, so we’re not subverting anything by taking “pride” in ourselves, because pride for straight folks is in everything. We’re not oppressed, pathologized, murdered or subjugated for being straight.…
He couldnt control the security team he told to stomp dude out? Are you a Trump voter? This logic seems on brand with his supporters
Stormfront Talking Points 101. Seen it a million times.
Now, if only the editors could show the greasy little shit the door...
Does it hurt, troll? Does it hurt to be that stupid?
Suffice it to say that I don’t believe you have your finger on the pulse of the “liberal” movement. Buttigieg has traction because he’s been cosying up to Wall Street and the private health care goons on the moderate side. Progressives don’t give a flying shit about him or his sexuality.
“he likes men sexually”
What you are failing to note is that while Michael is making a point about a systematic problem, mayo Pete is discussing things as though Black people are the problem. That's the difference between understanding the problem of systemic racism and believing in the false notion of American meritocracy.
“Honestly, this isn’t very newsworthy.”
It was kind of both: Being able to have female spies on a show like that was empowering back in the ‘70s but they also made it super male gazey so they’d get eyeballs on the screen.
Well that’s not true at all:
