I have the same thoughts and you and Eric Reid. Smells like bs, sounds like bs, its probably bs but we could all be wrong. Maybe, not?

We live in a country where cops can start arresting you for no reason, then arrest you for resisting arrest when you ask why. I wonder what Franz Kafka would say if he was still alive.
Cool. Vote for Biden and enjoy the old timey silent racism.
This. She’s practically going around saying, “Excuse me... EXCUSE ME... EXCUSE ME! Why won’t you leave me alone? Hell, I asked you a question. Don’t run away, I want to know why you won’t leave me alone???!!!??? Come back here!...”
If she’s not auditioning for a Siouxsie and the Banshees tribute band she needs to chill with the makeup, maybe head back to youtube for some tutorials.
Man, there’s a bunch of dipshits in the comments essentially all crying “I don’t like protests when they’re inconvenient!”
Unless your only hobby in the entire world is Blizzard games I simply can’t respect this “Stop standing up for people and let me play mah video games” attitude you seem to have. You come across as devoid of empathy and utterly seflish. The fact that rather than just going on playing their games and supporting them you…
Gee, I’m so sorry. It’s crazy that people like me care to point out silly things like companies participating in the suppression of dissent against an authoritarian government during a massive crackdown on millions of people wanting nothing more than democracy and personal freedom.
Announcing that they’re revoking Blitzchung’s suspension would be a good start towards showing actual remorse.
Good! I hope the protests keep growing.
Hong Kong support still going strong, even if change seems distant and unreachable. All the power to the protesters.
Nice to see people openly protesting tyrannical overloads who are valuing dollars over quality talent. Seems to be a bit of that going around recently.
I don’t think he meant respect like “respect and revere” but more like how one would respect a wild animal that could kill them at a moment’s notice.
Every parent of black kids makes sure they know that cops are racist and carry lethal force. It’s a matter of survival. My kids have been instructed to be polite and cooperative but to know their rights as well. Sanders was not asked to address policy around police killings he was asked to deal with the question on…
Honestly I’ve gotten this same advice from my mom and uncles so...I can’t shit on Sanders too much here
I mean, this is exactly what my parents tell me. Whether I get pulled over by the cops, or ICE they tell me to be respectful, to always carry my ID and my passport so they know I’m a U.S citizen.
You quote the student as asking: “If I’m your son, what advice would you give me next time I’m pulled over by a police officer?”
isn’t that “the talk” boiled down?
This is a bad take. If you watch the whole thing Bernie took the question seriously and answered as if the speaker was his child. So he said “I would encourage you to keep yourself safe because cops kill black kids.” That’s a pretty radical thing for him to say. He also said police need to be held accountable.
