$14 is still a LOT less than the $140 a month for basic cable TV. We have Amazon too, but we easily use enough Netflix to make it worth the $$$.

Sure why not. I mean drug spending in the 1800's was a fraction of what it is today. Plus look at how psuedo science still exists today regardless of the regulation. It is not like regs are doing anything but lining pharma pockets by minimizing competition.

“Nevermind the VAST economic advantages of a deregulated health care industry.”

Yeah, scams related to health never flourish because of wide spread consumer awareness.

I wouldn’t, your reputation when people analyze the makeup of your products will make it extremely difficult for you to market your product. Sure if you invest in enough advertising you’ll make some money, but will it really offset the costs?

How are you going to stop me, a charlatan, from selling people sugar pills that tout the health benefits of placebos. When I make it to the cancer patients?

Say government were to deregulate health/pharma care in order to keep abreast with innovation. Yes this is going to promote a shit ton of pseudo science. But that stuff already exists. I honestly think, the amount of people who end up dying due to negligence could very well be smaller than the quantity of people these

I see the bigger issue that pharmaceuticals are more interested in treating symptoms and making profit than actually curing anything. I see the bigger issue of American citizens have to resort to extreme measures to get health care. No matter what I still see a victim and we are all in the same sad boat.

“For the next couple days, avoid public wi-fi, try to stick with HTTPS sites, and remember to install all patches on your devices as they’re made available.”

Wow...I was there this last weekend, lol. Looks like I got there just in time. Yep, they were sitting out there on the driveway glowering at everyone. There was an entire family including little kids, standing in the street doing the whole selfie stick thing. We just took a quick shot from the other side of the street

From SE’s point of view wouldn’t it have been better to just have him pay back the 12k in exchange for like a gag order? Avoiding bad publicity etc.

It’s nuts, right? All credit to accountability and whatever but he stole 12k, 6 years ago.

He bought them with company money right?

Also, had he instead embezzled several millions they’d have promoted him. Or is that US corporate culture?

if he stole 50 million dollars he’d be qualified for us presidency

It seems he didn’t steal anything. He bought consoles at wholesale price and resold them.

I’m just saying he should be embarrased about how paltry the sum is. If you’re going to steal from your employer, make sure it’s enough to live on as you won’t get hired again. Also, had he instead embezzled several millions they’d have promoted him. Or is that US corporate culture?

Maybe he should have been hoarding those overpriced SE collector’s editions instead. He could have at least doubled his gains that way.

Don’t underestimate the Japanese respect for honourable conduct.

So he stole about 12k... I mean, that’s bush league. What an amateur.
