I totally agree that AK and SS are fundamentally different from a mechanical standpoint, which is why I’ve questioned people who claimed that SS is a sequel to AK. However, that doesn’t change the fact that they’re both Rocksteady games with repetitive mission design. Like I said before, it doesn’t matter if AK’s

Your info is outdated. Like 20 years outdated. Most JRPGs actually show up on PC these days. In fact, PC probably has more JRPGs than any other platform right now. For example, I believe it has every single Final Fantasy except for FF16 (due to Sony’s timed exclusivity bullshit). It also has a bunch of Ys, Disgaea and

A title being exclusive is good for the only consumers platform holders should care about and that’s their own.

That’s a sign the publisher isn’t really concerned with promoting the PC port.

There is no should in the equation.

I’m not entirely sure what you’re trying to argue, to be honest. The issue is that this demo (for a game’s that’s available on PC) is not available on PC. Regardless of your preferred input device, PC players can’t play this demo unless they buy a PS5 and a PS5 costs $500. Therefore, telling PC players to go buy a

Was the game ever officially announced? I don’t remember seeing any trailers for it.

You do realize PCs support gamepads, right..?

Your “argument” is that people have the option to buy a console if they want to play console-exclusive demos. That’s not an argument. Obviously that’s an option.

That could be true and would be unfortunate if so. That said, I can still enjoy repetitive mission design if the core mechanics are enjoyable enough. I enjoyed AK, Gotham Knights, RAGE 2, Mad Max, etc.

You really do lack self-awareness.

Lack of side-mission variety was the biggest issue with AK (unless you really hated the Batmobile). It doesn’t matter if you played Penguin side-mission #3 after Firefly side-mission #2. The problem is that Penguin side-mission #3 is almost exactly the same as Penguin side-missions #1,2 and 4 so the repetition was

Poorly supported and illogical opinions do upset me, yes. Apathy isn’t quite the compelling argument you seem to think it is.

So you said that people should pay up to $500 (the price of a PS5) to play multiple free demos?

Get a console 🤷‍♂️

Template-based mission design is inherently repetitive. Each instance of those missions is extremely similar in AK. Penguin side mission #1 is almost exactly the same as Penguin side mission #4. Same goes for the crime scene investigations.

If someone doesn’t have the platform the demo is available on, they would have to buy it in order to play the demo. If that platform is PS5 (as is the case for the demo in this article), that’s $500. So when you tell someone to “get a console,” you’re telling him to spend up to $500 to play a demo.

Next year, probably. It took almost four years for the previous game to be ported, so around 3 years for this one seems feasible.

Pretty sure it’ll come to other platforms sooner than later. The game is being published by EA, after all.

It’s a simple yes or no question. Your refusal to answer it directly suggests that you know how unreasonable your stance actually is.
