He will no longer be right here waiting for her.
He will no longer be right here waiting for her.
Best of luck to your friend and her little girl. My cousin is 30 and when he was born life expectancy was 18-20. He's amazing and has such a positive attitude despite the challenges in his life. Everyone in my generation of family has opted to get tested for prior to getting married, just so we know. We've got a…
I can't even with this nonsense. I am giving birth to my second child in less then 2 weeks, and am SO thankful that my husband gets 2 weeks paternity leave!! I only wish he could get the 8 that I am getting! Not only will he also be up all night long with a newborn, but he deserves the same bonding time with our…
My favorite part is that these are all future republicans.
I'm sorry, what did you say? I wasn't paying attention because I was too busy beachfucking and snorting pot.
These tools at spring break are all gonna grow up to watch Fox News.
Why is Fox in my home town? Go away, you're too close on my channel guide.
Oh for goodness' sake! They did not "inadvertently make fun". They were absolutely deliberate and mean-spirited! They only look even crueler because of the cancer connection, but think about what that blurb from their magazine would look like if she *weren't* a cancer survivor! Still mean-spirited, right? And from a…
I'm gonna miss her when she's gone.
I joined Kinja just to say that I'm really irked that people have the nerve to get all upset about this boy's photo being used. This photo made my eyes well up, and gave me a physical, disgusted reaction similar to the one I had when I was rocking myself back and forth in the foetal position the first time I watched…
Yes! I would also accept the Pit of Despair.
As much as it is horrifying to see a picture of the child (whose identity is not revealed); it brings home that this is what child abuse looks like. It makes it real, and shows the child so suffering. In a culture in which we generally only see mugshots of the abusers, it might be helpful to demonstrate the real…
There are not enough horrible things that can happen to these two people.
Reading these two lines has made me FINALLY understand this show I had been hearing about these past few months.
He basically told the story so that his kids would know their mom wasn't the love of his life. That's some messed up shit.
It should have been called " how I settled for your mother so I could have the kids I wanted and then went back to the real love of my life once she died" Horrible ending.
I see the complaint about only including Slave Leia in the toyline, but...let's face it. That's the most popular version of Leia by far, and I don't have to get into geek demographics to explain why. Toy companies are in it for the money (no matter what geeks think). They're gonna make the most popular one first.
I have always heard "dumb" in the context to mean "mute". In this case, it seems that the person was trying to convey "Don't call them about their missing bag; please text them because they cannot hear or speak".
Same here. I'm college educated, I've lived in the USA my entire life, and I've never heard until now that "deaf and dumb" was offensive. Would anyone more informed than myself care to respond to this comment and tell us all what the preferred terms are for people who cannot hear or speak?
When calling for someone to get the sack I think a certain amount of care should be taken with regard to general public knowledge.
