If it is optionally manned I’m not sure it would be necessary, but here are plenty of modern production cars that could do the job.

There were a number of interesting points in the article basically saying we really don’t know what the final airframe would look like. Stealth features (aside from coating) would probably affect the aerodynamic shape to some degree, and therefore probably performance. The good news is that modern flight control…
I think I get what you are saying now. Still, for most kids (and of a recipient of a few of these long ago), I disagree. I can’t imagine why it would be so important today, it’s just a symbol; take a picture of them in their uniform and tell them you are proud of them, done and done. If a trophy really is becoming as…
No, we’d just be thinking “hey, wonder what she’s wearing underneath that” and our imagination is much better than reality.
I get that, but what is the point of the tropy then? The kid knows it is worthless, the parent knows it is worthless, everyone knows. It’s just a waste of money followed by a waste of space.
Why is this even a controversy? Why do you let yourself get worked up about stuff like this? You want to keep your last name, keep it. My wife did and not a fuck was given. Some man you want to marry is pressuring you to take his name after you told him no... maybe that’s a clue and you should think twice before…
It will be intersting, now that LM bought Sikorsky, how the extensive helicopter avionics integration capabilities in Owego are merged with the Skiorsky capabilities in CT. I believe the Navy MH-60 helicopters are built as basic models in CT and then flown to Owego to get all the mission equipment installed. I don’t…
Illegal refers to the act, not the person, your argument is a straw man. Someone who immigrates is an immigrant. Someone who illegally immigrates is an illegal immigrant. Call them whatever else you want, it doesn’t change the fact that the phrase is correct. It is only demeaning for those looking to feel hurt.…
Let’s just call that a bad analogy. A more appropriate example would be if you drive without a license. I think some would say you are driving illegally. (Leaving aside for a moment that whole movement that says the government can’t constitutionally require you to hold a license in order to drive on public roads.)
I’m not sure what part of my little story you are trying to refute, other than the part where I’m trying to illustrate that there is culpability on the customer side as well (to think otherwise is nieve). And there you don’t even provide any logic to back up your statement. You will note that I did say it is more…
I’m not saying cost plus is the better way to go, but there are reasons why the government uses cost plus contracting. Much of it is related to the department of defense procurement agencies’ motto: Indecision is the key to flexibility, and the fact that they are asking for stuff that doesn’t yet exist.
It would be more like:
That only works if the number of seats on the aircraft is sufficiently high to make the statistic valid. Since the system used by other airlines is likely to have some margin in it, they could be wasting cargo capacity. Wasted capacity means the airline is less fuel efficient. Why do you hate the earth?
I think buzz might be a little strong for what happened in that video. I’d accept flyover.
These kids are sociopaths. I don’t know if that can be fixed or not. But they are just as likely to end up banking executives as they are serial killers. Or maybe patent lawyers. Politicians?
That is just luck. It has nothing to do with their intent.
In hopes that it spread to her husband maybe?
Sure, in raw quantity, nobody can hold a candle to the US (USA! USA!). But per capita I think there might be some competition out there in some of the wealthier Arab countries where almost everyone is a prince of some sort.
I have no illusions that she would make a good president. I didn’t mean to imply that, if that’s the way you took it. She is a failed leader at least a couple of times over. While she seems to have done well for herself financially, she did it by nearly tanking at least two businesses.
How about we don’t make they company pay anything. If you want to make it universal, make the government pay for it, just like unemployment. That is how most of the rest of the world does it. Oh, and you need to raise taxes, probably by adding a payroll tax, just like the other developed countries. It needs to be sold…
