Wait. So England was exporting cars to Germany???

And yet the US managed to screw up a common platform multi-vehicle development before. Read about Future Combat System, which was more ambitious than just vehicles, but they couldn't even get the vehicles right.

The blue weapons are air to surface training units. You can see the bolt on laser guided seekers on the noses. As for the AMRAAM, it has been updated multiple times and is still undergoing development. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIM-120_A…)

The whole idea of these boats is to go fast. Friction in the air is much lower than in the water, therefore they try to keep as much of the boat out of water as possible. Not even the propeller is fully in the water when they are at speed. They are ridding a very narrow margin between fast and airborne. In the

The front outrigger looks to be fully out but the rear one is almost fully in. Perhaps the rear one being in is the issue, but there was almost no load, as you say, and the boom angle was pretty high, at least before it tipped.

"are the most fun you'll ever have in a leather onesie"

Did you watch the same trailer I did? I ask because I saw a bunch of motorcycles.

I switched providers.

Just another reason humanity is doomed.

When Woot was bought by Amazon was when I stopped visiting the site. It isn't that I don't like Amazon, I just hated what they did to Woot.

If you look at the planform I could see someone saying that they are, but when you look at them in 3 dimensions you can see that they are not. There is a clear distinction between the wings and the mostly round fuselage.

Someone probably thought the radioactive waste site should be more environmentally friendly and therefore specified "organic"

If it's 90 degrees F out, and 85+% humidity out, and raining hard, and I don't wan to get wet, I'm NOT going to put on a jacket.

Assuming you are in the US, go take the MSF Basic Rider Course. When I took it it was about 4 hours of classroom followed by two 5 hour sessions in a big open parking lot all done over one weekend. And they provide the bike! The bikes are small and they start out assuming you have never touched one before. You

I hate to be one of those guys... oh who am I kidding?. In any case the B2 bombers were more than $700,000,000 each in the late 90's which is in excess of $1B in today's dollars. The F-22 was about $150M each in the 2009 time frame or about $170M today. Those are clearly "A" model F-35's and Wikipedia says they

Perhaps you've never hear of the B2 bomber.

I think the confusion is that the F-35B is CAPABLE of a vertical take off, IF it isn't loaded up too heavily. It sounds like they don't intend to do that much in practice. There are numerous videos of the F-35 doing a vertical take off. By the way, minor point, but technically, all three variants are in "Low Rate

I have tried to parse what it is you are trying to say but any way I look at it, what you are saying is incorrect.

When I was a kid we didn't have any of this child protective crap. Sure I got zapped by an outlet, more than once even. In one case curiosity kept me going back to try and figure out what was going on. I can't tell you how many times I was zapped during that session. No really, I can't tell you. I really don't

Last time I had a doctor ordered blood test (routine) they took four vials of blood. Seemed like somewhere between half an ounce and an ounce each. If they can do all the same tests with just a couple of drops, then this is great. I'm not optimistic yet.
