There is no evidence that Unsworth is a hero of any kind. He didn’t dive in the cave, does not appear to have provided any actionable information about the cave, doesn’t seem to have participated in any way except being one of the few English speakers who had time to gab with the press about what his personal perceptio

I don’t think so, the local Fox 5 report states that after smashing through the gate of an elementary school he jumped out of the car and smashed a window before fleeing.

I hope it’s not too much of a pain to transfer your “key” info when you get a new phone.

You’re supposed to use your phone most of the time, which connects via bluetooth and requires no interaction to unlock the car.

Then you use the keycard, which is passive.

Simple.

I own a Model 3, and have put approximately 2500 miles on it since taking delivery in June.

The Model 3 unlocks as you approach it automatically, the same as other contemporary cars with keyless entry. No need to open your phone and touch anything.

The car unlocks automatically when you grab the door handle and you have your phone with you.  Just like a fob.  I just use the app to pre cool the car when walking out to it.

As long as you have the app on, bluetooth enabled and within a certain distance of your car, placing your door on the handle automatically unlocks the car. If you’re out of the range from the car, it automatically locks itself. You can also unlock the car for somebody if you’re out of distance through the app... say

You don’t need to pull out your phone to unlock the car. It connects with bluetooth of your phone and when you approach the car it will unlock when you pull the handle. Obviously you have never driven the car or even sat in one.

I’m a owner of a 3 month model 3 and wished sometimes people would spend a little bit more time learning about the car before bashing on it. Windshield wipers are controllable with the left stalk, pushing the button on the left stalk once will wipe your windshield once (it has auto setting), pushing it a few more

I haven’t tried it myself but once you have the app downloaded its supposed to detect proximity to the car and work completely hands free for locking and unlocking, “starting”. you just walk up and open the door with your hands.

Single wipe (and wash/wipe) is available on a stalk.

The media narrative flipped on Musk a couple months ago. It was fascinating to watch.

No one is calling for the lionization of these guys, it’s just that taking away their clearances does create a knowledge vacuum that does have real world security implications.

Sorry, but McRaven ‘coming out’ is a HUGE deal.

The look dirty because the case they where in was just cut open. You can see the Dremmel tool that was likely used in the background of the photo. To answer your question, the photo doesn’t prove any wrong doing. It actually proves Mr Tripp wrong. When manufacturing complicated and expensive parts you don’t throw them

He doesn’t make good deadlines. But he has been pretty successful at putting out something resembling a product. :/ A beta product... but a product none the less. And he did launch a first gen Tesla Roadster into deep space. We’re going to run into that again one of these days... Like I said, no tears for him. But I

Oh Tesla. Always missing those self imposed deadlines of radical technology that nobody else has.
