Isn’t that exactly what they did with their reboot? They canceled a Ghostbusters 3 and put in an all female version while saying that the original movie wasn’t connected. Now she’s getting that same treatment and is insulted. The irony is strong.

If you go with Stock on GApps, you get your choice of either the pixel launcher or the Google Now Launcher. Pixel Launcher does have it as well. That was the version of GApps I have been using, so that is probably the issue as the stock options of GApps overwrites the stock launcher.
