Shorts imply unprofessionalism the same way an adult diaper implies incontinence.

On modern iOS (since iOS 7) you just swipe up from the bottom to access airplane mode, wifi, and bluetooth toggles.

I also really miss the app drawer. Even with folders, I find iOS homescreens cluttered, and (unless I’m unaware of the feature) the inability to place icons where I want is annoying, and makes it harder to develop workflow muscle memory.

I came here to call attention to exactly this - this is an idea that was done before.

In Brazil (and probably other countries) they have something they call “torta de bolacha” (cookie pie) - basically made the same way, but with different cookies, and with doce de leite.

Yup. It’s kinda nuts sometimes. Los Feliz, in the Los Angeles area, is “Lahs Fill-iss”, while San Pedro is “San Peedro”. I get corrected on those almost as often as I use the words.

Q: Did you test any that don’t have loose-hanging cords? I can’t quite tell, though it looks like there’s one that’s sort of a flaccid behind-the-head arrangement in the pic (black/green). That isn’t what I mean, but it’s close, so easy to misunderstand.

It would seem that we, as a nation, cannot leave our beverages alone, and are always looking for the next gimmicky sip.

I must (finally) investigate Slacker, in that case.

You must be a youngling, because games like NetHack, Hack, and others ahead of it were doing randomly generated levels long before games used fancy graphics. Guaranteed, the creators of Diablo and other games had earlier exposure to other games and liked elements of the results.
