technically the Crisis Core & Before Crisis (and First Soldier...but it is multiplayer, so excluded) are prequels, and Dirge of Cerberus is a direct sequel. They are all canon to their main game’s timeline...just like After Years, X2, XIII-2, & XIII-3 which were included in this list.
