I worked in a legislative office. You would be amazed the amount of constituents who never contact their elected representatives, yet believe themselves to be involved or interested in public matters. Voicing your opinion absolutely does count. How is an elected official supposed to represent you if they never hear

Comment from my bestie on my outraged FB post this morning:

Ahahahahahaha. Of course.

Right? A quick “Our bad” and it would have quieted down. But the constant denial and games keeps attention on it.

Do I think Donald Trump and Dan Scarvino are anti-Semites? I actually do not. I think they are something much worse—people who underestimate anti-Semites, who think that they can be dog-whistled and prodded and cajoled but ultimately controlled. It’s people like that—people who think they can conjure a storm and then

Fabulous. Just absolutely fabulous!

You also don’t physically assault random people.

YASSS. I love this Beyoncé. I finally connect with her as an artist. Lemonade did it for me. Fucking badass. She makes me feel like a natural woman.

That inclination to remain pure while other people do the work is exactly why Barney Frank hates Bernie Sanders.

As a republican who is a Never Trump, I was thinking about voting for Johnson but not any more. Hilary has my vote on lock now.

Any person foolish enough to throw away their vote in such a way and be potentially complicit in the election of a crypto-fascist was never a real progressive. Just an angry and stubborn person looking for easy solutions to difficult questions. I’ve been a Bernie supporter since he announced, but you can bet your ass

I like Stein and if my voting for her had any realistic chance of helping her become president, I would. But it doesn’t. She’s going to lose. The only two people who have a shot are Clinton and Trump, and I’m going to vote for the one who isn’t insane, even if she’s not my top pick.

Not a chance for me; I’m okay with Clinton, she’s infinitely preferable to Trump, and I realize that neither Stein nor Johnson have a chance of winning (and I don’t know enough about Johnson to know if I find him preferable to Clinton). However, I do the the sense that some of Sanders’ supporters are refusing to vote

Jesus, please don't do that.

Incredible. Every time I think the Republicans can’t get any more petulant and childish, they double down again. And their constituents will praise them for their petulance. It’s as if the kids from Lord of the Flies started their own political party.

I don’t use the word hate lightly. I also try to remember that most people aren’t good or bad, everyone has some humanity, etc, etc.

Lol I was an accountant for the AF, as nerdy as it gets!

Please don’t start applying the stupidity of a couple of shitty people as being the mindset of the entire Corps. We’re a petri dish version of America, and a lot of asshats like this bring that shit into the Corps with them, but the rest of us fight (or in my case, fought) back against it.

When filling out paper work for background checks on a gun “have you been dishonorably discharged from the military?” No more second amendment right for him. I'm pro gun but fuck that guy

Never forget this glorious eyeroll!
