Is you're point that Lindelof is a great writer or that there are MORE people to blame for Prometheus? Because only one is valid.

True. I enjoy Robert Bolt's work much more than his actual subject.

While I think that the play itself is a wonderfully written and brilliant piece of drama, Thomas More himself was kind of a nasty bugger. He was (reportedly) vicious to his servants, condescending and hateful to his first and second wife, and as Chancellor, sentenced six men to death by burning at the stake for

All of this. I think this might be the first time that I'm quite disappointed in the critics' response. The film has problems; Jackson has always been long-winded and the info-dumps were unnecessary. Without them, the movie would have been a much more palatable two hours.

1. You make a good point, even if secondary characters often overshadow the main ones. But that doesn't make your point less valid.

My favorite "You said what now?!" gif.

Also, belly-button piercings.

Oh, that doesn't make me feel better.

Aw! His paws look huge as well.

I was wondering about the shoe sizes as well. Could it be because they are only borrowing them from designers, or perhaps were just given them? Maybe the designers didn't have that star's correct sizes?

This is most certainly a nerd's movie. I went in, expecting to see "The Hobbit" not "Lord of the Rings: Electric Boogaloo." And I got what I wanted in spades.

My IRL OTP, you guys. (Sam and Frodo are, obvs, my fictional OTP). Their commentary on the LOTR extended editions got me through my dental surgery recovery.

I can't....even....with this casting choice. He based the look on what he thought was an authentic painting of a Crow warrior. It's not. http://gawker.com/5906868/johnny-depps-tonto-is-based-on-a-white-mans-painting-of-an-imaginary-native-american

I would also count "Signs" in the win column. My only gripe with it is its really really schmaltzy ending, but I thought there were a lot of great scares, and it was the last time Mel Gibson turned in a decent and watchable performance (I would dare say that it was a good performance).

Well, no, they're not going to be able to include gene splicing or other "intricacies" of science, whatever that means. But they could have included the basics, like the absolute basics. The easiest way to signal "scientist" to an audience is a lab coat or goggles. It came off as condescending to its intended

1. If you had doubts about her methodology, why did you give her money?

It just tickles me pink that you don't understand that by their own emotional and overzealous reaction to her criticisms, her critics have discredited their own arguments. The invalidation of their arguments wasn't something done to them it was done by them.

Hmmm.

I know everyone loves them some Eric Northman and Alcide, but I'd like to throw in some Klaus into the discussion.

There will never not be a time when the answer to a question of "Who's the sexiest..." is not one of the Winchesters.
