GIF of the Day!

"I would absolutely at least go and test drive this."

business case, or the reality of Chicken Tax?

Agreed!
I guess the type of "bro-truck" I want to avoid is the overly large, lifted trucks I see here in FL (sometimes with huge smokey diesel exhausts).

If I can't get a decent wagon, at least give me a decently efficient light truck that doesn't immediately shout "bro-truck". I want it for DD and weekend fishing/kayaking/camping adventures. I live in FL, I do not need 4x4 or a friggin' cummins diesel. I need this truck. Give it to me now!

Wagon. The answer is wagon.

not quite small anymore, but I hear ya on the efficiency woes. Lets hope the EPA ratings are good for the new V6.

6spd manual + efficient v6?

sweet, it qualifies as a wagon then!

CX5 2.0 Manual 6spd: 11-20% Jalop.
I'll accept that.

i also wondered about that since I have a CX5 (compact SUV = 5dr Hatch or wagon?)

haha not really!
When it came time to buy a new car 2 yrs ago, I went straight to Subaru. I wanted an Impreza hatch: price was right but the pussification of the car with the loss of 2.5L boxer and no manual transmission in my neck of the woods meant I had to look elsewhere. I did spend some time in the Outback to see

Want one? Yes.
Need one? Yes actually. I'd trade in my compact SUV for this vehicle faster than you can pronounce Levorg...

why you gotta throw salt in the wounds? :-(

I would trade in my Mazda CX5 for this in a heartbeat!

Sorry for the triple post guys, I got Kinja'd :-(

Agreed, just look at the global market for what the Ranger could have been if Ford USA hadn't crippled it to prevent loss of F150 sales. If the US ranger looked like the one they sell in South Africa and Europe, I'd be all in.

"You'll soon find that once you start seeing this number decrease, the feeling is akin to leveling up in a video game. Once that happens, congratulations! You have successfully created a positive feedback loop around weight loss."
