I'd drive that...

I've been guilty of getting sleepy behind the wheel, its a very real possibility and many of us have been there. If I could get this option on my current car, I would eat a piece of humble pie and order it!

I'm surprised blind-spot monitoring hasn't gotten more votes. I went on vacation last summer and had to drive a Suburban xl because I was hauling 6 family members. That thing had blind-spot monitoring, backup camera, collision-detection, lane-departure warning, and it was just a breeze to drive despite its size. I

It makes no sense an therefor should be erased immediately.

Absolutely. May I suggest doing a NASA High Performance Driving Event (HPDE)? I took my Toyota Matrix to Willow Springs when I lived in CA and Homestead when I moved to FL. Both times, the instructor drives your car first to get a feel for what the car can do and how best to coach you. Then, when its your turn, it is

Counterpoint: On any recent Mazda 3/6/cx5, the only way to get their excellent 6spd manual shifter is to settle for the base model; because the GT models add an extra 500cc but lose the change-your-own-gears option.

good catch!

That's pretty cool.

Yeah the new Ranger looks awesome, another fine specimen denied to US residents.

Oh no mate, you misunderstand, I am a former Hilux owner and loved my '94 2.8D! I was sad (and still hold feelings) about the fact that I can't get an equivalent pickup truck here in the USA.

I liked the size of the Dakota and Ranger honestly. I just want a weekend truck to go fishing and haul my kayak and wet/salty/sandy gear, I don't want to have to trade everything I have for a $35K+ brotruck that doesn't even fit in my garage lol.

haha, then I'm sorry I missed your joke!
I feel you on the expense. I tried to option a GM Colorado online and realized I made a $35k truck... If the Tacoma suffers $imilarly then yeah, no thanks!

Larger! Thirstier! As versatile as any medium-large truck!
^fixed it for you.
I'm not hating on you, I'm just disappointed with the way each generation of Tacoma becomes the size of previous generation Tundra, which forces Tundra to get bigger, and the sad cycle continues...

Totally different, US market never got the Hilux. Not even the diesel powertrain made it over here to the American Toyota lineup :-(

I'd like to see which one is smaller honestly, the GM Colorado or the Toyota Tacundra <- deliberate blasphemy to indicate my distate for the ever expanding size of the Tacoma.

As a former Hilux owner who moved to the United States, I'd sell a kidney for a small truck as good as my old one but it looks like that's not in the cards for the US market.

something about that shot creeps me out...

LOL

Damn you Ford, BRING IT TO THE USA!!!
