The only cool looking part of the car? lol
Edit: I'm thinking its a power plug requiring some sort of Toyota-exclusive adapter for powering your home as they suggested as possible in the article?

Agreed. It's too... busy (the only word I can think of right now)

I should have gotten that one since the code is expired now :-/

This round goes to the Russians...

Hydrofoil technology and Airplane wing design are fairly similar, fluid dynamics are common to both, and light weight but strong construction figures in heavily with both airplanes and racing boats. This partnership is pretty natural!

Flight Club or Boatlopnik? Either way, cool article!
(and yes I am a proponent of Boatlopnik, I said so in the Toyota Yacht thread)

True it was discontinued, but not before they ruined it by making it heavier, ugly, and camry-powered :-( and they wondered why it didnt sell...
I miss my 2003 Matrix.

Sadly too late for me. I drove my riced out Matrix till I rebuilt the engine a second time and then traded her in for something sensible (Mazda CX5). 3 years ago I would have been all over this Auris Wagon vaporware...

epic. win.

+1 for Mazda Skyactiv: any model.

+1 for Boatlopnik!
Can I feature my kayaks as a side story? lol

At the risk of drawing Shaggy's disapproval, I think its a nicely designed craft. However, am I the only one who loves the side profile but did a double-take when they showed the straight on shot from the bow? it almost seems too narrow or too tall from that angle...

I think NASA should offer to rename (or at least temporarily label) the module the Torch-Tube. Good job sir.

They don't look all that similar, and I might be biased (CX5 owner), but I think Mazda did that better.

I don't want a ton of power or a "Bro-truck". I want car-like fuel economy, a manual gearbox, and I don't need the weight/expense of 4wd.

I would buy that in a heartbeat.

I feel you on this. When I was in undergrad, we had Halo parties with 4 players to a tv and another xbox linked up the next room over so we could have 4vs4. Now THAT was the pinnacle of multiplayer to me. Nowadays every game you buy that says multiplayer is really online multiplayer and lacks the same emotional

lol!

I almost spat my coffee out at your first alternate caption. well done lol!

No pause and wifely interruption means I usually wait till she is asleep to go play for a few hours undisturbed... then she wakes up and gives me hell for playing video games all night. sheesh, see the trouble you get me in Bungie?
