true!

Dare I ask, how is the fuel economy?

Strictly speaking, you are correct. However, they can be if they become necessary for an otherwise "bolt-on" supercharger or turbocharger kit. Also availability & cost of said pistons comes into play.

The major pitfall I see ahead is the same one I see plaguing Mazda3 and CX5 owners now: there haven't been any real modifications available for adding power to the Skyactiv 2.0 yet. I know its a relatively new engine, but has anyone seen even a single dyno-chart that proves additional hp from intake or exhaust or any

So true, I wish I had the Mazda3 hatch instead of my CX5. BUT one thing from driving the 6spd manual skyactiv 2.0 in a heavy car like mine, is that I am damn impressed with how smooth the engine is and with sufficient torque for a small SUV. Its gonna be great in that new Miata.

neither of these are small... sorry didn't intend to be a troll.

me likey!

I agree Mazda3 in general, but my vote goes to the newer incarnation:

My sister had one for 3 months, aaand then it was stolen. But during that time I was absolutely impressed by the interior space. Honda should have called it the Tardis, because it was certainly bigger on the inside.

I was a little confused as to whether this article was meant to encourage one to follow one's professional passions or hobbies. I guess it can be taken both ways? It would have to for some people, like me, who has no professional passion and whose hobbies do not translate to a supplemental source of income. My

I got that feeling too, other than it "looking awesome"

Not sure if serious... but i'll bite:
There is no Hilux here in USA, and the Ford Ranger was killed due to low sales volume. In fact, the most recent [global] Ford Ranger model wasn't even offered here. So you see, there is no "Small truck segment" to speak of in North America.

Since there's no category for "throttle response," I'm going to go on a bit of a rant here, in the acceleration section. Because why not.

I also wondered if it was one platform over another, its running pretty smooth on PS4 for me.

I'm in the situation described in the article and I agree with you; applying for something else and doing interviews puts some of the confidence back in your daily life. Even if the interviews don't land you the dream job, use them as practice and build upon that experience.

MiataGuys thanks for coming in, hopefully you get to answer some of these questions and don't get Kinja'd (ask around what I mean by that)

If your not planning a sports party... Unplug TV or hide the remotes: it only takes one guest who "needs to see how the big game is going" to ruin your event and turn it into an antisocial television-event. Heed my warning unless you want your event divided into TV room Vs the other guests.

Seconded from someone who lives in FL!

POTLUCK: YES!
My friends and I usually make a list (on email chain or facebook event post) of what each couple is bringing to the potluck, this way you don't have 5 people show up each with a Pie from Publix and nobody brought an entree! Also this way you can get it out in the open if someone has shellfish/peanut or
