Seconded. Without the Evo, there's nothing worth buying there. And before I get flamed, I am a previous Mitsubishi Montero owner, so I know the product lineup.

Horizon was more fun for jumping in and playing for 10-15 minutes if you have a busy schedule. Forza 4 felt more engaging. Since I work almost 60 hrs a week I end up playing Horizon more often. Oh and yes Horizon had time changes, so day/night/dusk/dawn were evident and made for fun driving around the virtual town.

I sort of restored one, but in body/paint only. The engine I got in my Sierra was a 2liter 8valve turd mated to an autotragic gearbox. My sister nicknamed the car "The Prince of Darkness" POD for short. We were happy to get rid of the POD eventually.

similar also to the wheels on my wife's 2013 focus

Good catch, but since the seating position will most likely be as vertical as a dining room chair (like in my old Toyota Matrix), this should pose no threat to the future beigemobile owners.

CrustyJoe, As a CX5 driver, I second that notion.
Mark Jacob, right on all accounts. But I do feel like this is the closest to the Mazda6 wagon America will get, so I will probably check it out in person when it arrives.

I test drove a 2013 Impreza with cvt and I approve this message. I couldn't even get my hands on one with the 5spd manual, too rare in my state (FL). aaaand why they haven't upgraded that to a 6spd manual for fuel economy is beyond me...

I drive a CX5 with the 2.ol skyactiv, even with my 6spd manual, I wish it had the 2.5 that the Mazda6 comes with. I think it could be a nice upgrade for me in a year or two.

Gotcha, thanks for responding!

Comment/question out of left field here; but if you were in the market for an ENTRY-level sporty sedan, (because not all of us have IS-F money) which 2014 car would you chose: IS250 or Mazda6 (6spd manual)?

100% agree. I was so disappointed test driving this car (2012 imprezza) that I bought a Mazda CX5 instead: a tad bigger, more power out of a similar 2.0L, better handling, AND 6spd manual.

well said!

Point taken!

You know what made me think of the solstice? Mostly its great looks, but also:
-Light
-2dr
- available in a base (decent yet affordable) trim and a hardcore (GXP?) trim.

The nose, I could live with, but its not nearly as hideous as the rear on this concept. Do not recycle this design.

lets expand on this to say:
- Match or beat the FR-S on price because millenials are cheap and are buying ecoboxes like the fiesta instead of [expensive] Camaros and Mustangs. So keep the base model at or under 20k.
- Ensure that the ecotec you are using is driving the correct wheels, THE REAR WHEELS
- keep it light and

ah, you beat me to it!

He HAD a BMW, an M3 I believe, which he crashed. Hope he treats this car better.

I was overly ambitious and made these for my 1ZZFE Toyota Matrix:

Well, I'm going to go against the grain a bit and say that I need something a bit bigger than a fiat 500 for my purposes. In my spare time I fish from a kayak, so I need something to carry it on the roof or in the trunk. There are no new SMALL pickups for sale in america anymore and besides I really wanted a wagon.
