Congrats! Time for an engine swap? I seem to recall a Franken-Beatle roaming the streets of Kingston Jamaica with a WRX engine in there... not sure if urban legend or just really crazy modification. Could this be a possible mod in the future for you?

I like the instrumental version done by a group of gals called "Bond"

Sadly I think you're right. But because I live and drive in Florida, and am not a senior citizen, and still get stuck behind old farts that don't know how to drive the speed limit or in the slow lanes, I say GO FOR IT to the proposed laws by SunHawk.

Good luck amigo. We had a car in the family for almost 20 years, nicknamed and all, so I know what you mean about long term bonding with the car. The love you show for your car is admirable and I hope to goodness you get it back.

what were these intended to be?

MotoGP is teh awesome. Doesn't matter if you're a fan of 2 wheels or 4, its just a pure form of racing that every true gearhead should appreciate.
I don't live near any of the venues, but I would go if I could. I will try to catch all of the races on tv this year, I missed out last year.

Thats great, waste of precious seconds in a race, but great showmanship for the fans' sakes.

28city and 34hwy? for a hybrid? yougottabejoking.
Glad I got the Mazda CX5 instead of the Subaru Impreza/XV/Crosstrek/failboat.

do want!

Thank you for reminding me that I would rather have a BRZ than this WRX, based on looks alone.

you have my vote with this one...

Listens to dyno vid... Holy Boost Lag Batman! takes a while, but when boost kicks in I was impressed. I gave it a NP because obviously someone did a nice job on the engine, and it would cost more to build one yourself (but why you would want to is still beyond me)

worthy of any top 10!

pure win.

My Aunt had one of those Escorts, a nice white one with a stripe. I seem to remember it caught on fire in a parking lot, thankfully after she had gotten out and thus avoided fiery death.

Agreed.
Its ludicrous that in this day and age we do not have the option of a small pickup that makes 28+ (highway) mpg, or 20+ mpg in the city.

Right on the money with this one. I got a ride in an Amarok over Christmas when I was visiting Jamaica, and I dare say it was nicer than my Dad's Toyota Hilux :-x

Higher speed limits on highways. Specifically the highways with the antiquated 55mph limits, those need to be changed. Sure they date back to one of the oil-crisis times in the past when it was suggested for fuel savings, but come on, these slower highways encourage slow traffic. Even worse when drivers see a police

"A cheap cabrio is always welcome"
Did they have any suggestions on pricing?

so much want!
