At this point, I think it would be hard for Disney to water down the quality of tie-in merchandise more than it already has been. Either way, I'd assume that the deal for this POS was done before the Disney buyout.
Relax. "Date Added" is in the exact same place it's been since iTunes version who-knows-what. Don't know why the OP couldn't find it.
What doesn't make sense here? It manages media in more-or-less the same way, it's just reorganized. You might not like the way that media management works, but that wouldn't be an example of Apple moving "further away".
That depends on if you're comparing to real IMAX or the newer "LIEMAX". If it's the former, UltraAVX is a decent halfway point between that and a standard theatre.
That's true. I've never gone to UltraAVX screenings during busy periods, but that WILL be handy for "The Hobbit".
The Cineplex chain (in Canada) has a number of 4K projectors (on their "UltraAVX"-branded screens). It looks nice, but don't really think the increased ticket cost is worth it. The one exception: I saw "The Master" in 4K, and it was GORGEOUS... probably a result of it having been filmed on 70mm stock.
Testify! @jdempsey has been touched by His Noodly Appendage!
This is just a theory. Real Americans know that the Flying Spaghetti Monster created everything 4500 years ago.
Pretty sure those are just faces.
Who said anything about child porn?
I find it interesting also. However, this is a gadget blog (not an art blog) so it's easy to see where the complaints stem from.
All the best companies have Hotmail addresses.
Finally, a way to check the time on-the-go.
Simpsons did it.
How DOES it work, from your experience? I'm always interested in first-person perspective.
Just get Kevin Smith to throw it in his back pocket.
I wouldn't take it as gospel when it comes to researching an academic paper, but for finding out who the quarterbacks were during the 11th Super Bowl, it's pretty handy.
No problem with taking it for free and then complaining about it though, huh?
Not really different than a person sitting at the entrance taking notes on whoever enters the stores (aside from the fact that that person is out of a job, I suppose).
