Neutral: Serious Problem Or Much Ado About Nothing? Is Chrysler's lower profit margin a big deal or just a temporary glitch?
I bought a Grand Jeep Cherokee in June 2014. Within two and half months my tires are completely bald till the wire in the tire is coming out. A tire in that condition should not have been sold at all. I was driving on the beltway and noticed my truck was sliding to and fro. I wasn't sure what the problem was until my…
I always tell my co-workers who don't want to spend money on changing it to get a turkey baster and suck the brake fluid out of the reservoir (without going too low to introduce air) every time they change the oil. Replace it with new, clean brake fluid of the same DOT rating. It will eventually mix in with the rest…
Ugh. I hate the parking brake drums. Such a PITA.
In addition to these steps I recommend the following: put never seize on the wheels lugs and around the hub behind the disk. You'll be thankful next time you get a flat or you have to change the rotor again and don't need to break out the mallet.
I used to get brake parts from Rock Auto. Then I did the brakes on my mom's 2007 escape hybrid. The parts price was good: $200 for everything. The $170 they wanted for shipping said warts was insane. I went with Advance Auto and got free shipping for orders over $75.
At issue right now is a case brought by the owner of 2008 Chevy HHR who says the resale value of his bad PT Cruiser copy is now less than it was and he wants GM to make up the difference. The case is in front of a U.S. Bankruptcy judge who will determine if New GM is responsible for old GM problems.
Black roof, sure! Silver roof, no way!
Were the teeth crooked on this car? Does it really need braces?
Still, that's only 11,675 cars or, as Brent Snavely points out, about a third the number of Camry's sold that month. So, growth is good, but they're not a player yet.
I've found that in general sales people don't know jack about the cars they are selling. They simply know how to push a car to its hopeful buyer. Every time I've bought a new car I've known far more about the car than the sales person did. I even suggested the salesman at the Honda dealership spend some time…
Monster Miata! (isn't Miata always the answer?)
This just into Fox News: ISIS plane attacks Kansas City Airport. Obama is at fault!!! Lock the boarders!
By that logic here is another sports car.
I love Ford. They make amazingly attractive cars and trucks with awesome features... but they have never been particularly reliable nor do they iron out new technologies before bringing them to market. Sadly, as of 2 months ago it is the first time since I was 16 that I don't own at least 1 Ford. I recently traded…
Because the development took 10 years of building, testing, and re-testing. They planned to only sell 500 of them. They needed to at least break even because they knew it wouldn't help normal Lexus sales at all.
Cadillac has big plans that go beyond just a strange new naming system. They're also planning an onslaught of new models, including a range-topping flagship and a smaller crossover. Interestingly, a new convertible and sub-ATS sedan may be in the cards too.
F-35. Billions upon billions of dollars spent on something that we car barely use because it keeps breaking or deemed unsafe to fly the whole fleet.
Here is how you can tell this is BS. The worst model in both of these companies is the same damn car... but if you look left you can see the bottom of the range for both brands which would be identified as this model. The is a huge discrepancy there between the 2 brands.
