I think this post would have been more beneficial if it was a list of features that used to be in every car that are no longer offered in most to save a few bucks.

That leads me to believe that this car was damaged during shipment so they replaced the offending part.

They all use those stupid pinch type clamps now. I hate them. They rust and snap and are not resuseable.. ever.

VW did this across their line in the 80s. Back them it was a single round green light.

I have MFT in mine. After the last update that was pushed out I haven't had a single problem with it. It still lags some times, but other than that its been great.

Hyundai, GM, BMW, Ford, etc all do this. My wife's Accent has this... though the pump that comes with it is really handy. I'm lucky that my 2012 Focus has a real spare.

My favorite car I ever owned (91 Thunderbird) had these. I HATED them. They failed shortly after I bought the thing. They were $30 each from the dealer and you needed 2 to hold up the massive hood. I ended up using the handle from a shovel that broke. It worked great!

What ever happened to locks on glove boxes? There are cars out there pushing $40,000 that have no freaking glove box lock. Back when I was a kid (1980s) even the basic cars that that feature.

When I was in college the local cab companies offered $1 rides too and from campus to anywhere within the city limits (min 4 people). The problem was there was little money to be made $1 at a time for any distance over across the street. When going to and from bars and parties it was not uncommon to be piled in some

I do it and so does everyone else in my Condo complex. It makes it 100 times easier to clean, especially if the first layer is ice.

Lamarossa. This was from about 10-15 years ago. I knew this kid and he was really cool... but he absolutely ruined a nice MKIII Supra with crap he bought at home depot and painted yellow

What do you think? Does Mulally head to Microsoft? Stay at Ford? Retire?

Remember, this is where grunge came from!

The Jaguar S-Type was made for that.

You spin me right 'round baby right 'round.

I'm going to CP this for one reason and one reason only: Shaved door handles.

Most domestic flights serve alcohol. That usually helps.

Full body racing suit that traps you for 3+ hours and heats up to over 120 degrees. Also as a helmet with the display for the game in the visor and sound in your ears.

Can that short guy even see over the ridiculously high hood?
