    Certainly there's a happy medium somewhere where people who live in predominantly populated, non-federally owned states can see the perspective of living in a state full of open land where EVERYONE IN THE NATION CONTROLS HOW IT IS USED?

    How would your opinion on this change if nearly two-thirds of YOUR state was owned by the "common heritage of all Americans"?

    I think the 700+ billion gallons of oil that have passed through the Alyeska Pipeline might suggest that's not entirely true.

    And it's not about "grabbing my camera and participating", it's about the idea that NY = America. I was looking forward to seeing train scenes from America, and guess what?

    Nothing outside a small radius near NYC. What's up with the idea that NYC is the center of the universe?
