Have you watched Car Trek with Ed Bolian, Tavarish and Hoovie? It felt like a blatant ripoff of classic Top Gear but in all of the best ways.
I’d be genuinely curious. I’m betting just accelerated wear to consumables (brakes, tires, etc.) but otherwise it would fare just fine.
Yep, that was the “easy” way of changing the spark plugs on my 2001 F250... Fortunately I parted with that POS before the iridium plugs were scheduled for a replacement (but not before the engine decided it no longer wanted to have one of the plugs installed anymore).
I hate to agree but you’re right. Stupid people really do ruin everything...
Since you mentioned biking in winter, might I suggest shopping around for a fat bike (assuming you have snow)? They really make winter riding fun again the way riding a bike was as a kid. Plus it is a hell of a workout.
I had a very similar reaction. I actually thought “Wow, look at all those dumbasses getting in the way. I’m surprised none of them has a... Wait, there it is!”
Not nearly rusty enough for his taste...
Wow, that take on the car’s performance is almost harsh enough to have come from Nikki Lauda
Damn, the average age of our vehicles is older than that (17.3 years). That is likely to change in the next year when my wife gets a new car, and I inherit our least-old car (11 Scion XB)to takeover DD duties from my 98 Tacoma. FWIW, the one that is going is a very tired 99 Forester.
Its 2020, I’m guessing they know something we don’t and are just preparing for the inevitable kaiju...
The real question is, how long until you buy one Torch?
Almost guaranteed to be more reliable than the real thing!
You just described a supermoto track. Still one of my favorite motorsports to watch live...
Dammit $kay, who’s supposed to name you COTD?
Not so fast! As awesome as that would be, we can’t risk David and Torch to such shennanigans with Kristen gone.
I’ve always loved the “simple” procedures like:
I’m convinced that is the smell of their proprietary Chineseum alloy. It is a “metal” alloy, made primarily of lead, that has most of the physical characteristics of cheap plastic. They somehow use it in their tools, “rubber” tires, “leather” gloves, “wood” handles... Basically everything in the store...
All in! This would be an amazing weekly animated series for Jalopnik!
That really wouldn’t surprise me at all... In fact, I’m thinking mandatory mod!
