Destructive Tester

My question is “how much does it smell like a Harbor Freight?”

“If Something Seems Like It Requires Experience, Be Prepared To Do It Over A Dozen Times”

This is criminally under-starred.

But it won’t be a “one of a kind” yellow with black stripes with a grey interior built on a Tuesday “Best Corvette...” -said in RCR voice.

Hey, don’t joke about that.  In the Salt Lake City area we got to kick-off the whole COVID-19 party with an earthquake.

I did the same after my wife was t-boned by a woman running a red light last summer. Fortunately, multiple witnesses wrote statements that the other car did, in fact, run a VERY red light. Fortunately everyone was OK, but it motivated me to not rely on witnesses in the future.

Without comments what’s even the point? My favorite thing about Deadspin was how the articles started the comments which took on a life of their own.

Thank you Fancy Kristen! I can’t be the only one who needed this...

I wish I could have found some of these in a 5-114 pattern for winter tires on my wife’s car.

Come on, this is the perfect car for someone! As long as that “someone” works from home, never goes further than walking distance from said home, and has zero interests outside of fixing cars (think David Tracy minus the Jeep fetish)...

Interesting take, I like it!

Let’s recap recent Hoovie purchases; a Murcielago with obvious transmission issues and an Alpina B7 that obviously needed valve guides... This would fit right in!

How to put this... I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see this on Hoovie’s Garage next week...

Don’t care, “simpkifsim depiction” is now part of my vocabulary...

The defroster doesn’t do shit for the snow/slush that gets packed on the bottom of your windshield by your wipers down sweep...

Subaru’s wiper de-icers are life-changing! I can’t tell you how many times I said “why doesn’t somebody find a way to keep ice from forming at the bottom of the windshield while you drive?” Then I bought a Subaru...

I guess some congratulations are in order... Tesla managed to out-ugly GM’s new HD pickups!

I was thinking this but didn’t have time to read the wording of the cited law. If anything, I’d say the lawyer dropped the ball almost as badly as the mechanic.

But then you’d have to trigger the tachometer part of the tester, and I’m pretty sure it measures the temperature to ensure you don’t leave the probe on... You know what, I’m not even going to finish typing that. We’ve already put too much thought into how stupid most DMVs are...

I wonder how difficult registration will be in areas with emissions testing. I know how stupid it sounds but with the way they are with engine swaps I could see DMVs not seeing the insanity of having emissions testing requirements for EV swaps...
