I've been suggesting this as a way to limit downforce while eliminating the incentive to find loopholes. The cars have load sensors at each of the 4 corners already, just limit the amount of load the cars are allowed to have at speed relative to sitting on the grid. I'm aware that this is a gross over-simplification,

I had a 93 Loyale wagon for a couple years till it died(burned-up the ecu). That little car is still my favorite vehicle I've owned...

I’m surprised the floor boards didn’t fall out of the dyno control room.

Does anyone know if this was suggested as the new #DougCar?

That’s easy, Ledecky sets a new world record while the McLaren almost drowns and craps in its Speedo...

I think it’s dependent on how the dog was conditioned to interpret affection. If, as a pup, the dog received a lot of hugs along with strong praise it will most likely interpret them as a good thing (keep in mind, every dog is an individual and I can only speak in generalities). If a dog was never treated this way

Well said! My two litter-mate German shepherds are a great example of how much of an individual a dog can be. In spite of being genetically the same, and being raised and socialized the same; they have very different personalities and preferences.

The number of Jalopnik meme references alone warrant more than the stars this comment has been given.

Don’t worry, your message came through loud and clear.

I was ready to say the same thing about the wind but I saw your comment and the subsequent replies first. I watched part of the prelims but went to bed before it was over. I just assumed things went from bad to worse for him.

Don’t you just love how Kinja’s editing window closes about 15 seconds before you realize how big a mistake you made in a comment?

This is exactly what I was thinking. It didn’t look like a deliberate dive as much as a desperate lean where her legs didn’t have the horsepower to catch back up and she ended-up on the ground.

Joe:

Well that could explain the green color...

Wow, the water from the women’s prelims looks like my pool in the spring the first time I open the cover... Considering this is an Olympic pool, that's not a good thing.

“Not according to the WADA code. The lack of an effective test does not make a substance illegal and a positive test is not the only way to earn a conviction.”

That explains it! I was wondering what was going on because there obviously weren't any pedestrians in the median...

I used this above, but it fits your question as well.

To really answer your question, you have to understand just how much better athletes at that level are than even top-level amateurs. To make it onto a TDF team you have to be in the top fraction of a percent of the professional cycling field, which is the top fraction of a percent of serious cyclists, which is among
