One of my favorite things about the Karen Traviss Republic Commando novels was they while it Star Wars, none of it made a difference in the larger scheme. The characters weren’t out to save the galaxy, just each other and do their jobs.

I’ve always liked Jim Lee’s art. Sometimes it derivative, sometimes its cheesy, other times it shines. I have seen the effects a tight deadline can have on his work. And I’ve seen stuff that he had plenty of time with. I will say this, the man loves what he does, and good work or bad, that love shows.

I was actually witness to this yesterday on my lunch break. One of the people I was meeting with had a Camry with this exact dent. I’d almost swear the top image was from her car, if it wasn’t from the wrong state.

These have always seemed like good candidates for a skilled tuner. An engine/transmission swap, tweak the suspension as needed and you could have a car that goes as fast as it was intended to look.

I would only dub a car a chick car, if the demographics showed that the vast majority of new purchases of it were made by women. I want to say there was a generation of Eclispe that was bought predominantly by women when it was new.
