now you know how I felt when this conversation was happening.

the games this person bought were.............

it’s very similar, yes.

yeah I know alot of Nintendo’s games fit into the category of Fantasy.

I was having a discussion the other day with someone who said they just got a switch and wanted suggestions for what games to get and they specifically said they didn’t want Breath of the Wild because they’re not a fan of fantasy games.

better idea. just get rid of the bras and underwear in this game entirely

how about Sengoku Resident Evil?

a gryphon is the fusion of a cat and a bird. so cat ears really wouldn’t be that out of place and he does have a beak. the horns though are the only unexplained trait. Trico resembles a gryphon more than any other mythological creature. therefore he is a gryphon.

yes, she does. she looks so human but not quite completely there that people are revolted by her.

Masamune Shirow’s art awakens something in all of us.

Based on the trailer they have exceedingly articulate and detailed cybernetics, yet she doesn’t look human. What is the in-universe explanation for her distorted eyes?

and once more she’s 99 percent robot. appearing inhuman is par for the course. she is the definition of uncanny valley which is fine because that’s what they were going for here. she’s clearly a robot because she doesn’t look human.

it’s a Gryphon.

is it really that hard for people to say Gryphon?

she should be just like Motoko. Not a mutated distorted “humanish” thing. She’s supposed to be small and cute, not disgusting and inhuman.

exactly, just like Motoko. as far as I’m concerned it fits the movie and her character perfectly. a photo realistic cyborg with a fully prosthetic body probably isn’t going to look perfectly human(uncanny valley), the eyes are a great visual cue that this character isn’t quite human.

one of the big points of the original story is Alita’s head is flesh and bone
