that makes sense, I’m glad they’re not totally shutdown. but I don’t think EA is even selling the game anywhere anymore.

which is exactly my point. with Gamespy shutting the game down EA could have updated the game to allow fans to host their own servers. there are tons of old games that live on today thanks to fan hosted servers, even GOG got in on the trend.

fuck EA. fans wouldn’t have to go to these lengths if EA had given the games proper online multiplayer support once Gamespy shutdown.

the biggest problem is that there aren’t alot of safe places on the web for these developers to promote their games and for consumers to pay for those games. there is a big market for adult themed games like these. consoles manufactures wont allow them on their consoles and services like Steam wont allow them to be…

that one actually had nothing to do with Kojima and whether or not it’s canon is up for debate given that Kojima wasn’t involved at all, it’s the last game chronologically, and there aren’t gonna be anymore Metal Gear games.
