I think once you get further into it you’ll have more fun. you don’t get your gambits until Balthier and Fran join your party so up until that point it’s really tedious manually inputting commands for your party members. also you really need to use the fast forward feature, it really helps alot.

it’s really not that far into the game. honestly for a Final Fantasy game the story is pretty short. and out of the FF games I’ve played 12 is easily one of my favorites. you really should invest some more time into because it’s definitely worth it.
